Trust & Security

How we handle your data

This page is maintained by Pramath Sathe to answer common questions about security and privacy on English with Math. It describes the controls that are enabled today and is not an independent certification.

Accounts & authentication

Sign-in uses email/password or Google. Sessions are managed by our authentication provider with industry-standard token handling. We never store raw passwords.

You can change your password or delete your account at any time — email us using the contact below.

Data we store

We store the data you create on the site: your profile, practice attempts, AI-graded feedback, saved structures, subscription status, and any reviews you submit. We do not sell your data.

Paid study resources (PDFs) are served through short-lived, signed download links generated only after we confirm an active subscription or coupon. Free resources (the sample test and Instagram freebies) are intentionally public.

Security controls

Database access is gated by row-level security policies so that each user can only read their own attempts, profile, and subscription. Grading runs server-side: answer keys are not sent to your browser before you submit.

Traffic is served over HTTPS. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.

Subprocessors

We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to operate the service: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and an AI grading provider (used only to evaluate writing and speaking you submit for feedback).
